Description
- Recognizes human A1BG
- Alpha-1B-glycoprotein (A1BG) is a plasma protein and a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily
- Protects circulation from potentially harmful effect of free CRISP3
- Elevated A1 BG levels in blood associated with several kinds of cancer
Process:
- Antibody specific for A1BG pre-coated onto microwells
- A1BG protein in samples captured by the coated antibody after incubation
- After extensive washing, another antibody of biotinylated specific for A1BG is added to detec captured A1BG protein
- For signal development, Sterptravidin-HRP is added, followed by Tetramethyl-benzidine (TMB) reagent
- Solution containing sulfuric acid used to stop color development and color intensity
- Proportional to quantity of bound protein, measurable at 450 nm with correctional wavelength set at 630 nm
