Mettler Toledo™ Pepsin-HCl Cleaning Solution
Removes protein contamination from the diaphragm of pH electrodes. Mettler Toledo™ Pepsin-HCl Cleaning Solution helps maintain electrode performance and should be utilized after measurements and prior to recalibration. Treatment time is about 1 hour.
Brand: Mettler Toledo™ 51350100
Description
The pH electrode is the main actor of pH measurement. It requires special care and attention. The removal of contamination is required before the electrode can be re-calibrated and used for another measurement.
Rinsing with deionized water is not sufficient when protein contamination (and other inorganic components) is present; Pepsin-HCl is recommended in this case.
- Available in a handy screw-cap bottle with a no-fuss label
- SDS and label contain information according to GHS (Globally Harmonized System)
