Wash Bottles

Wash Bottles

Featuring a long stem nozzle to aid in cleaning laboratories, wash bottles are usually constructed of squeezable plastic and closed with a screw-top lid. Pressure applied to the wash bottle by hand forces liquid inside out of the nozzle as either a single drop or a narrow stream. Numerous reagents and solvents can be used with wash bottles, which can be color-coded for simple content identification. High vapor pressure reagents can also be used in wash bottles, if caps that have small pressure release holes are used to release excess pressure and avoid unattended material ejection.
